An open letter to my clients
The past four months have presented everyone with challenges. The pandemic has been a time of reassessment and adjustment for everyone both personally and professionally. It has been an interesting time to say the least.
I am proud of how all of us at the Paradigm Centre, where possible, have continued to offer their services to the community throughout this trying time. My vision for the Paradigm Centre has always been that of a family unit working together in harmony providing services of value to the families in our community and I think that we accomplished that while following all the prescribed health safety protocols to protect our client’s health and wellbeing.
Through it all I have managed to pivot my practice to continue to provide online services by telephone, distance and Zoom sessions. My practice literally became virtual overnight. Shifting my practice to a virtual offering in the beginning was a relief because I was able to continue to help so many of you. It was a blessing in many ways but also a sign of things to come.
In the middle of all this craziness as a result of the pandemic there was a moment of clarity when I realized that it was time for me to step back and reassess how I practice. With that in mind I have decided that I will no longer be offering in person sessions instead all client sessions will continue to only be offered by telephone, distance or by Zoom.
I am committed to continue to offer my services safely and professionally virtually by distance, but I have also realized through all of this that I can continue to be of service to my clients and be living closer to my children and grandchildren. For that reason, I am letting you know that my husband and I have decided to move to the Ottawa area to be closer to them.
For my clients there will be no change in services, except for the fact that all sessions will be virtual either by telephone, distance or Zoom. I will still be available three days a week from 10 am to 3 pm but I will no longer be seeing clients in person. Robin has very graciously agreed to continue as my virtual assistant and handle all front office duties including bookings whether it be over the phone or by email. We will also be shifting how we accept payments and will accept only payment by e-transfers or PayPal. You will be notified what that change in payment function has been finalized.
This shift also means that it was time to reassess the services we offer the community at the Paradigm Centre. After much thought and many long conversations my husband and I have come to the most difficult decision of accepting the fact that the Paradigm Centre for Wellness has run its course. All the practitioners at the Centre have been informed. Each practitioner be in touch with their own clients to notify them of any of the changes they are making to their practice location. That information will be delivered by each individual practitioner to their own clientele. In the meantime, please be assured that even though The Centre is in transition we are still open for business until further notice.
I also want to reassure you that I will continue to be of service to the best of my ability. Guelph has been our home for over twenty-five years. We have loved this city and feel a sense of loss leaving it, but the reality is our hearts are with our children and grandchildren. My years at the Centre have been the most rewarding times of my life. It has been an honour to work with so many outstanding professionals and in the process help to build the credibility and professionalism of energy work in our community. I leave knowing that I have done my best, but life moves on and one must always be willing to adapt.
I look forward to being of service in this new capacity. Our transition period is still to be decided but rest assured my practice will continue to operate as normal as we make all the necessary decisions and changes to our location. If you wish to make an appointment call the office and make those arrangements with Robin. In the meantime, stay safe and take care.
Namaste,
Atherton Drenth
